Images in Signatures?

I am trying to add a custom signature pic, but my settings say "0 photos allowed", Images of any size and something about content. I don't know if I am doing this wrong, mayhaps? I am also fairly new. I have searched topics trying to find an answer to this but have not as of yet. Many thanks in advance.

Embedded images are not permitted here. See the following rule from the Board Style Guide:

7. You can't post images.

Posting a link to an image is fine, but images as part of posts are not allowed and you won't be able to do this. In general, it should rarely be necessary to post an image rather than a link. If there is some reason why you absolutely must use an image, PM a moderator for help.

The reasoning behind this policy is that multiple images slow down the performance of the board, it's a great deal of work to police the use of images and animated gifs (in relation to permissible sizes, links to viruses etc.) and that the look and feel of the board is generally spoiled by prolific use of images. In our opinion, anyway.

So sorry that I just now saw this! Stinks that we can't use signatures but tysm for answering my question :)

It's bad enough that I have to deal with multiple paragraph font size 48 signatures, images would be awful.

You can have a signature, but it's limited to text. As it is, the board's servers are overloaded during every season of GoT; having to handle images in sigs on top of that would lock them up even worse.
