Your Top Ten Predictions to complete the ASOIAF series

Here are my predictions, crackpot and all:

1). Planetos/GRRth is hollow/swiss-cheesed with tunnels. Dany will get a globe-shaped map.

2). The creation of the Others are related to the creation of the Stone Men

3). The blue rose wreath is related to abduction by a Northern King...Mance, which is why he's searching the Winterfell Crypts.

4). Lyanna had a daughter, not a son. OR she had twins.

5). Val and Dalla are descendants of the Others, or the Night King and his Other wife

6). GRRM takes way more inspiration from comics than he would now admit

7). Jon is Aegon. Faegon is the son of Ashara and Ned. Varys took the wrong kid. Faegon is a Dayne/Stark.

8). Arya is Nissa Nissa

9). Jon's body will die. He'll warg Ghost, then inhabit another body.

10). Qyburn will sew a hand on Jaime

1) Right when it appears that Stannis is about to win the Battle in the Ice the Others will attack his army and he'll be forced to make an alliance with Roose.

2) Victarion will make Dany his salt wife and take her back to Westeros as a prisoner with most of her army stranded in Meereen.

3) Benjen has been stranded on Skagos.

4) Jon and Aegon are twin brothers.

5) Bran will warg into Hodor and become a knight.

6) The Ironborn will sack Oldtown.

7) Sansa will kill Littlefinger.

8) It's revealed that Aerys was regularly practicing blood magic, he burned Rickard because the Starks have king's blood.

9) Podrick Payne will go down in history as the greatest knight of all time.

10) The final season of the TV show will air before GRRM finishes writing the last book.

1. Rhaegar and Lyanna were wed, making Jon legitimate.

2. Dany will sacrifice herself in the battle with the Others.

3. Sansa will be the downfall of LF.

4. Jon's "death" will release him from his NW vows.

5. Marg loses her trial and is beheaded on the spot, causing the smallfolk to riot against the now armed faith.

6. Jaime is the valonqar. He'll commit suicide after killing Cersei.

7. Bloodraven and the CoTF are doing horrible things behind the scenes. (They just give me bad vibes, okay?)

8. At least one of the dragons will survive and will remain at the Wall. (Or if the Wall falls, it'll be it's replacement.)

9. No more IT. The Seven Kingdoms will revert back to ACTUALLY being 7 kingdoms + the Iron Islands.

10. The epilogue will be told from the POV of tree!Bran.

Jon will go into Ghost for a while, then wind up back in his body

1. Dany will make it to Westeros but will refuse the throne, instead beginning a new quest to find the House with the Red Door.

2. Theon will finally be crowned upon the Seastone Chair, but after everything he's lost get there, it won't have been worth it anymore.

3. JonCon will bring plague to Westeros by ADoS.

4. The battle with the Others will not be a huge army-against-army throwdown like everyone wants, at least not in the end. Somehow, man and nature will make peace, if only for the time being.

5. There will be no Seven Kingdoms in the end. The various wars will have rended the land into several kingdoms or none at all.

6. We'll know the truth that Rhaegar was evil all along.

7. Most of the mysteries will never be solved.

8. Stannis will be the king of something, just not of the Seven Kingdoms. Perhaps he'll start his own.

9. Rickon will be the Stark in Winterfell, if Winterfell isn't in ruins.

10. A Dream of Spring will end by someone saying "We should turn back."

[Epyon]

1. Jon is Targ, AAR, and eventually King. Daeny is his Queen..

2. Tyrion is their Hand, and heir to Casterly Rock

3. Jaime and Brienne disappear as companions/wandering heroes (though not lovers)

4. The wall comes down/ the Night's Watch is disbanded at the end. Long seasons of both kind (summer/winter) are gone forever.

5, Stannis dies. Mel goes crazy...

6. Mel convinces Aegon he is AAR, both die trying to impale Daenarys with his sword/create Lightbringer

7. (crackpot) Roose is an agent/ something akin to a colonel for the White Walkers. He is currently trying to create as many corpses on this side of the wall as possible, for the eventual siege at the wall. The entire dead army will be resurrected as wights in order to lay siege to the wall from behind.

8. One of the final book chapters/ epilogues, has Arya getting killed by a faceless man, for leaving them. Maybe even final paragraph, with her death closing out the book/fading to black.

Valaryian steel sword predictions (Which is either one long prediction and I only have 9, or I'm cheating with like 6 extras):

Longclaw: Jon's sword, given back to house Mormont (with Ser Jorah's redemption)

Brightroar: (Lannister sword lost near Valaryia) Recovered by Euron, wielded by Tyrion, given to Jaime at end (Returns to house Lannister on his death)

Oathkeeper: Stays with Brienne at the end, with the promise it goes back to house Stark on her death.

Blackfyre: Wielded by Aegon, taken by Jon (reclaiming the Targ sword from a Blackfyre pretender)

Widow's Wail: Wielded by Jaime in the final battle, given to house Stark at the end.

Dark Sister: Should be Daenary's blade... but Daeny ain't swinging no sword anytime soon, so I think it ends up being used by Arya

[Brahood Witout Manners]

1) Dany never returns to Westeros. Realizing her true calling is as the founder of the new Valarian Empire.

2) One Stark (Snow) will have to kill another before the end. (Or UnStark)

3) The "good guys" will, for the most part, win... And I have been paying attention.

4) Sandor will never be heard from again.

5) The GNC f**ks up House Bolton.

6) Sansa and Rickon somehow take back the north on Sansa's political expertise. Or it looks like an episode of Inspector Gadget. Either way.

7) Main branch of house Lannister is wiped out. Casterly Rock to Sansa.

8) The Seven Kingdoms become the Six Holy Kingdoms. The Faith has all of the power with Stannis as a figure head. Rickon is King in the North, an independent kingdom.

9) Aegon is fake. Jon is R+ L....Yes obvious and true.

10) I have no f#ckin clue what's going on North of the wall or in old town, still too many possibilities.

1. Plague, ice zombies, armed religious zealots, food shortage, winter. Stuff in Westeros gets really really bad, verging on total anarchy, and then some dragons come and burn everything to the ground.

2. Sam's horn from the fist of the first men brings down the wall, the free folk become more or less a part of the kingdoms

3. The surviving stark kids all betray their current mentor figures- Arya evades the FM, Bran leaves Blood Raven, Sansa sabotages LF's plans and destroys him. None of the mentors are too happy about this and they ultimately get beaten at their own game.

4. The citadel is up to no good and Sam plays an important role in stopping it, also he finds the time to tell off his mean father

5. Qyburn loses control of his "creation(s)" and they go on a killing spree in the castle.

6. Dorne, the Vale, and various islands become safe havens from all of the disasters, protected by mountains and deserts and ocean

7. Court moves to Harrenhal or casterly rock

8. Cersei wins her trial and becomes crazier than Aerys and eventually dies very dramatically

9. Littlefinger gets appointed hand and is promptly squashed like a bug

10. Sansa is discovered and has to stand trial for poisoning Joffrey, it's all rigged, she takes trial by combat and a certain gravedigger kills his undead brother as her champion

Hmm, I was planning on a thread like this when WoW was imminent, guess this will work instead...

1. Grey Wind is alive

2. The Wall does not block skinchanging magics

3. Starks are descendants of Duncan the Small

4. Lannisters are Targ descendants through Joanna

5. "King's Blood" and "Targ blood" aren't special

6. Sansa will be Queen of Westeros - the other Stark children will all be "dead" - living inside their wolves.

7. The Wall was built by the WW

8. The "Others" are a distinct group, not just an alternative name for WW (maybe same race, maybe CotF)

9. History as presented so far is wildly inaccurate

- The FM are the WW (50/50)

10. Aegon is real and is Cersei's "younger and more beautiful" valonqar, Dany is fake
