Kudos on stealing my thunder, Ser Ape. No idea what our rotation is going to look like now. We signed E. Santana, which is ok, but now Minor is probably out til the end of April too. Still, I think Atlanta has a very good chance to be competitive and win the division. They didn't have Beachy last year...it just sucks to have thought you maybe had him coming back better than ever and then to find out he could be facing a massive setback. It still looks like a very solid team overall. Minor's got shoulder soreness. They were hoping he might be back by the start of the season, but now with two other starters out they're taking every precaution. And yeah, not having Beachy back really sucks. He was overpowering when healthy. I'm not too worried about the rest of the team - the bullpen should remain excellent and I'm fine with the lineup (even Uggla, who's hit fairly well this spring). Consistent starting pitching will be needed though to beat out the Nats. Absolutely terrible what happened to Chapman yesterday. It's a prediction I so want to be wrong about, but I still worry that something unthinkable is going to eventually happen on a line drive back at a pitcher's head Agreed on both points. Currently, New South Wales and Western Australia are duking it out in the final of the Sheffield Shield - the domestic cricket season trophy-deciding match. The NSW home ground is the Sydney Cricket Ground. NSW won the home ground advantage for the final. They are not playing at their home ground and are in fact playing it in Canberra - in the Australian Capital Territory(1) - a place that doesn't even field a team in the Sheffield Shield - because the SCG is being used for the baseball games.
