Round 10 Results: *ahem*

No it was not a NIL round again :P About the hint, both characters were supposed to be part of a pair/couple, but not together. This sounds arbitrary if you consider the couples can be of random type. What was meant was the pair is a general type, the candidates are from two different such pairs - here the dragon-dragonrider pair. Another such example could've been the King-Kingsguard pair, or the Kinght-Squire pair, or well just lovers or spouses or siblings.

Round 10 Results: The Good Queen Alyssanne

Present in 5/14 lists

Top position : 3

Bottom position : 14

The Good Queen Alysanne was the wife-queen of King Jaeherys the Conciliator, the Old King. She implored her husband to abolish the lord's right of first night. She was cherished by the commons as the good queen. Alysanne traveled to Winterfell and the Wall with her husband on her dragon Silverwing. She gave the gift region south of the wall to Night's Watch, and gave her jewels to build the Queensgate castle.

Balerion the Black Dread

Larger than any dragon ever seen in Westeros, Balerion was a terror, named for the gods the Valyrians kept. They see he could swallow an Aurochs whole. He was the mount of King Aegon the conqueror, and participated in Field of Fire with Vhagar and Meraxes. He was responsible for burning of Harrenhal too. Daenerys names one of Illyrio's ships to him when she leaves Qarth.

Present in 7/14 lists

Top position : 3

Bottom position : 18

Turinqui Calima maintains her lead with a correct gamble. There is no overtaking her, though JQC is rising too, who is the winner of the last game. Ramsay Blow was the other one to gamble correctly. LadyQ's case was different, she had Balerion and Alysanne as part of the same list. So I awarded her not 3 or 5 but 4 points.

Points

1. Turinqui Calima - 30

2. Jon's Queen Consort - 22

3. Bori - 19

4. DarkGeomancer - 19

5. Kungsmurfen - 18

6. therealbando - 15

7. Ramsay Blow - 14

8. LadyQ - 13

9. Emmit - 12

10. Evermind - 12

11. lil' ghost - 12

12. The Wolf Lord's Daughter - 12

13. Castellan - 11

14. Dreamsongs - 11

15. Adara - 10

16. King Gendry - 9

17. BaleTheGuard - 7

18. Honeyed Chicken - 2

I wasn't absent. I submitted a post that said I wasn't going to guess on that one.

This time I will.

Brandon Stark (yes, him again) :)

eta

ponder, ponder.

Do I "gamble it all" on Brandon Stark in the wild hope of getting back in the game, or "play it safe" and go for the "sure points" with a three part guess?

Well, there's a question that answers itself. Good-bye Rhaegar and Arthur Dayne!

Points! finally, some points! I almost lost every hope :)

It's either Harrenhal or Ashford. I'm just not sure how to interpret "participated" (i.e. being present is also considered as participation)

I will ponder a bit...
