Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 So on the "Publications" page on George's website, The World of Ice And Fire is listed as coming out this October, with a cover featuring the Iron Throne. However, the Amazon page, while giving a correlating October 28 release date, does not show a cover, only a blue placeholder with the title and author names, with "Cover coming soon" under it. Why the discrepancy? Is the cover on George's site non-final, or is Amazon just behind the times? On a side note, is that "October 28" date final, what with the writing being complete? Don Roberto Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Apparently that cover with the Iron Throne is just a placeholder graphic, not the final proof version. As for the date, until it's explicitly announced by Bantam, I'll hold my horses.
