russjass
i like this book and the sequels about the same family of thieves and i would say it is one of my favourite series although this is the best book of the series although i think it is very different in tone to a game of thrones and i dont think i would automatically recommend it to anyone who likes game of thrones

Frank Fitzpatrick
It's hugely popular on this forum already. The general consensus it that it's an excellent book, but most have been disappointed by the subsequent sequels, personally I've enjoyed all three. Jaxom 1974
Far fewer were diappointed by the sequels than one thinks. There are a number of threads dedicated to Scott and his works out and about. The Republic of Thieves thread is likely only a page or two back.
Maithanet
I liked Locke Lamora. Didn't finish Red Seas before I had to return it to the library, and I've never gone back to it. I dunno, it just seemed comparatively dull.
