SnakyPringle
We've heard about the family units in The Brady Bunch, the Whites of Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and countless other television families. It's time for Game of Thrones to join the discussion. How does Game of Thrones treat or represent the idea of "family"? Is family everything in this series? I sure believe it is. It just happens to be a family drama that features dragons and fantasy. Do we relate to the Starks/Lannisters/Targaryens/Tyrells characters (not Joffrey, I hope) in the same way in which we do with other shows? Is that how the show has become one of the most popular shows in recent memory?
