Miekix Daphigar
As George R.R. Martin is far from the traditional author, don't you think he would be smart enough not to do anything to predictable? One of the great things about his writing is he does not use stereotypes (much), he stays fresh and interesting, and he continues to baffle the community. I personally think that he would go on these websites and read up on the theories, specifically to know what NOT to do. The one reason I do not subscribe to the R+L=J theory is, while it's incredibly thought out and all evidence points to it, it wouldn't be a surprise to the readers. So my question is...Do you think GRRM will write anything predicted by the community?

Raz'Nagul
I can't find the statement either. But GRRM said he doesn't read forums, because he doesn't want to be influenced by fan fiction and theories.
