Where is Sansa's story arc headed?

I've had this huge fascination with Sansa ever since the first book. Yes she is fairly naive, but that is not to say she has definitely developed a great deal of knowledge on how 'the game' is played through watching the many players in KL. Now she's essentially learning how to play from Littlefinger, who has set her up to marry Harry the Heir. This alliance between the two would be key for sansa reclaiming the north, however would this mean that Harry would rule the north? How much power does Sansa actually have? I'm just curious as to what theories people have on where her story arc is headed, and would be very interested to hear your opinions.

I think LF, with the drinking, may try to rape her, but she will kill him with the dagger he used to frame Tyrion and set her parents and the Lannisters apart. I think she will later be brought back to KL for trial thanks to the Mad Mouse sending a letter to KL. However, I think Olenna would confess to save Sansa's life.

I think Sandor and Sansa will reunite, but briefly with Sandor dying defending her.

Now for one I don't think Littlefinger's scheme will come to fruition. because 1) the plan is explained in detail. If there one obvious pattern in these books is that plans that are laid out so easily are always flushed down the toilet. 2) GRRM ended her last chapter in a cliffhanger for a good reason. If Sansa will go along with Littlefinger then he would have shown her reaction on his plan, but he didn't and on top of it gave us a subtle hint that Sansa will not go along with him. I think that Sansa will defy Littlefinger because she has both a selfless and selfish reason to protect Sweetrobin. Plus we have to keep the "controversial" chapter in mind. Now my theory is that Sansa will kill Littlefinger with a poisoned lemon cake in the controversial chapter. It wouldn't be that controversial because most of the fans are rooting Sansa to take down Littlefinger - even the ones who don't like Sansa that much, but still be slightly controversial since Sansa killing someone won't sit well with some people. The wolves will be coming again and I have feeling that Sansa will be the wolf who will blow the minds of a lot of people.

If anyone else had orchestrated the events leading up to Sansa becoming Lady of the Vale and the North (Queen in the North, anyone? Or Lady of Casterly Rock? Or heck, why not the Riverlands?), I would say Sansa probably wouldn't get to marry Harry the Heir, someone would intervene, something terrible happens at the wedding, etc. However, because Littlefinger has successfully organised pretty much everything up to this point (besides whatever Varys is up to) I'm going to say that the events LF outlined in Sansa's last chapter in AFfC are what's going to happen. In other words, Sweetrobin dies, Alayne marries Harry and on the night of their wedding she reveals herself as a Stark, the Vale rises to the cause of restoring her seat in Winterfell. However, I think Sansa is really going to come into her own in TWoW as a political player, not just Petyr's pawn. I also am really looking forward to her developing her relationship with Mya Stone and Myranda Royce. It's been too long since Sansa had female companionship, and I think it's all going to be for the better.

I've always hoped she will win the might of the Vale, somehow. And when the Lannisters are making their retreat back to the rock from KL(Tyrells, fAegon, The Faith etc will run them out) she'll have her knights in the field and intercept them during their retreat , with the Blackfish councilng her, because he'll be in the Vale. She'll have Cercei as her prisoner . She'll be in position to negotiate the release of Edmure and return Riverrun , the Riverlands.

She'll be the next ruler of the Vale and the Twins. It's told to us in the first book that she's not a typical northerner. I take that to mean she won't/couldn't rule Winterfell. Doubt she'll be queen or will even want to, after what she witnessed at King's Landing. Plus, she's learning even the queen can be a pawn.

I don't think she will marry from this point on. Aside from the fact she is still married Sansa has come to the point she perhaps doesn't want to wed at all. I for one could definitely see Sansa being "officially" single at the end of the series. It would be a stark (pun intended) contrast to how she began in the story.

A lot of very decent ideas floating around here.

I see LF trying to keep Sansa for himself. She is his weakness for sure. IDK if she kills him, although it certainly would be nice to see her get her hands bloody in a just way for sure.

Sansa will learn to play the game, and will be taught by Littlefinger. She will be the next Tywin Lannister, the way I see it. She will have all this intelligence and power and will know how to wield it. Without all the cruelty of course (I hope...). I forsee that LF will place way to much trust in her, love her too much, become his one weakness, and at the end, she will kill him. I actually think she might be one of the people that will survive at the end.

You cannot be the Tywin Lannister without cruelty.
