What if, and hear me out here, Eddard Strak was really not killed?! We all know Eddard Strak was killed in front of a big crowd so you might ask “everyone saw him die so how can he be alive, man?”. The answer, as it often does lies with Papier Mâché. As we know, the late king Jeffrey (RIP), was very rich, He had enough money to have servants make the most delightful Papier Mâché sculptures. What if, the real Eddard Strak wasn’t killed, but his Papier Mâché double? I think king Jeffrey (RIP) just wanted to make a little jest, being the prankster that he is….was :crying: . For example who can’t remember the hilarious jape when he acted like he was hurt in aGoT to have Sensa’s dog killed. Now the we have the motive (a jest) and the how (Papier Mâché), we can start to speculate about future dramatic returns of Eddard Strak. I think Eddard already has made his return, under the name……..Robert Strong :eek:.It is obvious Ed would pick that name, because Robert was his best “friend”, if that is what he called it :blushing:. And Strong because Ed thinks it sounds pretty cool. All the time he was in prison in the Red Keep, Strak has been working out because that is what you do in the joint. Ed knew he often drops the soap and he had to work out in order to not become the belle of the ball. That is why he is so broad of shoulder now. In aDwD Kevan thinks this scentence:“We do not even know if he’s alive.” which totally fits. You might ask “How can Ed be as tall as Rob Strong, man?” but Ed’s height is never actually mentioned in the books! It all fits too perfectly. Anyway, what do you guys think?
