danm_999 Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 I'm guessing they won't show full frontal nudity or anything, probably use certain camera angles to get around it, and I doubt they'll shave Cersei's head, but I don't know that they're going to tone anything else (basically, I think the scene will indeed be Cersei walking naked through a jeering crowd). Keep in mind after all, the series has had no problem with depicting really fucked up stuff happening that we don't actually see in the books (Theon's castration, Sansa almost getting raped during the King's Landing riot). The scene where she is with Pycelle and wipes her vajine is too grody. HBO is not scared of certain nudity and even more vulgar things like cleaning oneself after sex with a guy that farts dust.On the other hand, don't know if Lena will have to roll like that. It occurred to me that they might put her in rags or something similar, to approximate the vulnerability of her being naked as closely as possible, without Heady having to do a nude scene for it (I know she's said that she's done doing them) and without it coming across as overly gratuitous. I was reading The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory and I came across this actual Duchess Eleanor of Glouchester, accused of instigating necromancy, and was made to do a walk of punishment like Cersei, only thinly clothed with linen, and barefooted.
