So they released him without charge, but still forwarded the file. Are they waiting to hear back on whether to charge him or not?

It will be for the Public Prosecution Service to determine if there's sufficient evidence to charge him. The Head of the PPP has acted for Sinn Fein in the past, so will have to recuse himself from this decision.

I guess they decided they weren't going to get any more useful information out of him, so they've let him go while the lawyers decide if there's enough evidence to charge him with anything.

Gerry Adams is of the opinion the timing of his arrest was wrong; it shouldnt have been doneduring an election. What?? "Hey we've new evidence linking a politician to murder; lets wait until after the election". And the PSNI is being accused of political policing...

Oh, and the UKIP aren't racist. Some of theor best friends err candidates are black...

To be fair, there have been issues with arrests of Sinn Fein leaders before. If I recall correctly, Martin McGuinness was arrested for vigilantism before the 2002 elections and that never went further.

IMO, Adams did know about McConville. I do believe the squad that killed her reported to him. (I also think he knew about the abuse of his niece, but whether for family feeling or the more "high minded" view he took of non cooperation with the RUC didn't report it). In my opinion, he is a scumbag and it saddens me that Sinn Fein are doing so well as a party. But there is an element of truth to the allegation that the timing is political.

Ivor Bell, a very powerful figure in the IRA in the 70s, has been charged with abducting Jean McGonville, on the basis of statements he, and other Republicans, made to researchers at Boston University. It's believed that some of these statements implicate Adams.

If you were lucky enough to forget that the BNP were still around. The BNP Youth. (This link goes to the BNPTV Youtube account)

BNP Youth - fighting back against the "unholy alliance" of Bankers, Zionists, Marxists, Capitalists, Gays and Journalists.

I would pay a pretty penny to be allowed to watch that meeting.

WOW... WOW... WOW...

Listen to that echo.

;)
