My precious just arrived. I just got these boots for over 50% off, which is good, considering that for full price they are probably 3x more expensive than any other shoe I own. That was my reward for surviving another school year. :smug: Not going to London, but I kind of feel like Spokane is the perfect place to go line dancing. Right? Right?

Sexxxy as fuck.

I am so addicted to Old Gringo boots, it's not funny. And I have been eyeing those....I now have four pair and can't buy another pair anytime soon.

Those are GORGEOUS.

I could go for this-----> http://holyclothing.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/3018/s/mariah-gothic-godet-vtg-victorian-floral-lace-dress-w-lining/

ETA: I like the Emerald Green! Did you read some of the comments? A couple of them referred to it as the Stevie Nicks dress. :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Finally got a new interview suit and I went with navy because I loved how the color looked on me. http://i.imgur.com/NNi3uDM.jpg

since I had met my clothing size goal but not my weight goal, I did look up to see if clothing sizes had changed since the 80's and they have! I was pretty surprised. I know they had changed since the 50's, I just didn't expect that much of a difference in my own life time (they are about 2 sizes bigger now than they were in the 80's it seems)

The link doesn't work. But I have heard that clothes like food had been upsized and what was once sold as a size 12 is now sold as a size 8. However, this isn't consistent across all brands, some brands are actually shrinking their clothes by two sizes. I have consistently purchased Ralph Lauren blazers since the early 90s and I can still wear these older blazers. Except the ones I have from the 90s are all size 10 and the ones I buy today are all size 14. They are all about the same dimensions and measurements.

Oh, they sure are. I told my sister that an older size 6 is around a size 2 now, and she didn't believe me. Then I gave her a coat I no longer wear that is a size 6 - she was stunned. :stunned:
