It is mentioned in the chapter, The Soiled Knight, when Ser Arys is talking with Arianne. I'm guessing it doesn't necessarily matter now that the Targs have lost control of Kings Landing, but what difference would it have made during Targ reign if the tale was true? Rhaenys_Targaryen Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 If the rumours about Aemon and Naerys were true, that would mean that Daeron II was a bastard, and thus had no legal right to the throne, meaning that the entire line of Targaryens that descended from Daeron (Baelor Breakspear, Aerys I, Maekar I, Aegon V, Jaehaerys II, Aerys II, Rhaella, Rhaegar, Viserys, Daenerys, Rhaenys, Aegon) have no right to the throne either.
