Black pastrami with chouriço, sautéed onions, sharp cheddar, mayo, brown mustard, and hot peppers on a big ass sub roll. But who am I kidding. Anyone that doesn't say a Rueben is flat out wrong. Poached crab, shrimp and whitefish, diced celery, red onion and radish all mixed together in an ancho mayo with a dash of cayenne pepper. Spring Bass Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 My favorite sandwich was a Roast Beef with Spicy Cheese that a pub called the Desert Edge used to make in Salt Lake City. Several slices of roast beef, spicy cheese, all between a baguette from a good artisan bread place (Crumb Bros) - it was so good. I also like smoked turkey, Stilton and grape jelly on sourdough. And any sandwich someone else makes just for me, again sans mayonnaise is also another favorite of mine. P.S. There's a bakery near me that also does a great vegetarian piadina.
