The Sleeper Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 It might be just me, but the name of the house sounds valyrian to me. Also, the names of the known members have a valyrian feel to them. Delonne, not so much, but Ryon sounds valyrian and he has chosen to name his bastard Daemon, which is a Targaryen (and Blackfyre name). Is this the case? Do we have any more info? joluoto2 Posted July 13, 2014 Share Posted July 13, 2014 I think they just keep very Rhoynish names, unlike most other Dornish Houses that have Andal names, or a mixture of Andal and Rhoynish. While true, those are personal names and not family names. And to my knowledge family names to tend to cling to culture more than personal ones.
