Favorite Castle or Strong hold

I am fascinated by so many of them. But I have to say of the ones we have seen the Dreadfort and Storm's End are sick. I am hoping that Seaguard, Casterly Rock, and Highgarden will be nice too but we have to little info. Sunspear is cool but for me the stone Dragon's of Dragonstone are just too cartoony and unrealistic. It ruins what would otherwise be a solid stronghold.

As far as strong holds go, you really can't go wrong with the Eyrie. It would be a total bitch to take, but not a place I'd like to live.

I am very fond of Winterfell, as I think we are all suppose to be. It would also be tough to take by force when manned, what Theon did was clever, but would not exactly be common place, I mean, the person that is leading the attack has intimate knowledge of the defenses and people because he was raised there, AND pretty much all the military force is off elsewhere. All that being said, I think the fact that is was taken taints it in our collective minds, and, well, it is a point against it. But with the steam heating and glass gardens, by all accounts, a very nice place to grown up.

Casterly Rock would be another bitch to take, but little is really known about it. We can assume it is incredibly well fortified and has deep reserves to allow it to withstand sieges. But little is really known about how nice a place it is to live and grow up. As oppose to...

Highgarden, from all accounts a very nice place full of gardens and and sunshine and all that, but little is known about its defenses.

Riverrun is another one that would be hard to take, and it could withstand a long siege, as well as being a nice place to live.

The Twins, fits the first 2 categories, but I'm guessing not a pleasant place to live.

Storm's End, very very well defended, but maybe the stores could be better, and I am not a fan of the weather.

Pyke, ha, its a pile of rubble just waiting to happen, and I would rather be raised in the Eyrie by Tywin and Lysa.

Seagard, I would very much like to know more about. It seems to be a hard place to take, but really really do not know more.

I think for defensive purposes I have to vote for the Eyrie, but to live at, would have to be a close one between Highgarden and Winterfell, with the edge going to Highgarden due to weather. Then going with the assumption that a House as clever as the Tyrells, who know they have some less then friendly Houses around them, mainly the Hightowers and, well, Dorne, would have made Highgarden very well defended I will have to pick Highgarden as my favorite.
