PancakeMountainThatRides Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 I love Alexander Siddig and Jonathan Pryce. Some of the decisions seem kinda weird though... Like, why is Tyene Ellaria's daughter when they could've used any of the four she already had? Why is Tyene a dagger specialist and Nymeria a whip specialist when Nymeria already used daggers and Obara used a whip? They aren't really important things, but I don't really know why they would arbitrarily randomize stuff when the same ends could've been met without changing things around. It's all just a little weird for me. And yeah, I'm guessing no Arianne. And possibly no Quentyn since Trystane kinda shot up a few places in terms of inheritance. The Grey Wolf Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 I love the casting for Doran and the High Sparrow. However, one thing infuriates me. Based off the video Arianne AND Quentyn have been cut in favor of the Sand Snakes of all characters. Seriously, what the hell is that about? Both are POV characters and Arianne being Doran's heir highlights how Dorne is different from the other kingdoms in terms of culture and inheritance. Honestly, if I hear next they've cut out Euron or Victarion or Griff in favor of some minor non-POV character like Darkstar I'm going to have serious concerns about the show going forward.
