Now who would be more ironic than Jaime Lannister sitting the IT in the end?One could argue that his is foreshadowed in GOT in Jon's chapter when he notes in his observations of Jaime that "this is what a King should look like."Furthermore he is the Kingslayer which would add to the irony.
