Wmarshal
Not that sounds good, I just don't see how a small little girl can marh through a freezing north all the way to Winterfell.

Alayne's Shadow.
During winter? Be careful what you wish for. :D lol, good call. But I don't think the Northern cause is entirely lost with Stannis, if he loses. But it's one hell of a setback, as WM pointed out.
Sub_Zero94
I wonder one thing: If Stannis loses to Roose, how the hell anyone is going to kill him? well, isn't Mance in Winterfell, glamoured ? Twenty of House Goodmen
I could only see the Vale or the Others defeating him. Assuming the other Northern lords are defeated/subdued along with Stannis that is.

Lady Blizzardborn
let's not forget the fact, that at some point Ramsay will probably try and kill him. :agree: Exactly what I was thinking. Unless Fat Walda gets upset because he left the privy seat up AGAIN! and calls in her kinsman Black Walder to deal with him and his rotten son. In an odd way, Robert gave humanity a better fighting chance.
RainGhost
Not that sounds good, I just don't see how a small little girl can marh through a freezing north all the way to Winterfell. How can a small little girl escape King's Landing and survive a war-torn riverlands? Roose Bolton is surrounded by enemies. It's only a matter of time. And GRRM is very inventive in ways of dying. Maybe the ghosts of Brandon, Rickard and the old kings of winter drive him to madness and he throws himself off the top of the tallest tower. Dorian Martell
Nope. In an odd way, Robert gave humanity a better fighting chance. Rhaegar would have reigned after his mad father and been such a great king that he would be proclaimed Rhaegar the Magnificent!
JonisHenryTudor
During winter? Be careful what you wish for. :D Well yes, but I am pretty sure that armies are going to have to march during winter to defeat the WW's or confront them. Otherwise we will have a rather stagnant final two books until the dawn of spring.
