Re-read Question

So I'm about halfway done with my re-read of "A Game of Thrones" and I was wondering if you guys annotated lines as you went or y'all just notice it and then move on. On my first read through of the series I didn't take any notes, even though I should've for characters, but now that I'm re-reading the series I decided to underline certain lines that popped out to me. I don't really know why but as I underline the quote/line I always think more in-depth about what is being written. Is there anyone else out there who does that? Or is it just me? Some lines that have stood out to me are

Page 358: Bottom Middle " You rule like a man dancing on rotten ice. I daresay you will make a noble splash. I believe I heard the first crack this morning." I found this interesting because him denying Joffrey as a true Baratheon was a noble act but it's what got him killed. Maybe Littlefinger saw this coming and let Eddard go on with his investigation.

Page 355: Middle "You could hire an army of common sellswords for half the price, and that's for a merchant." I saw this as a foreshadowing to the assassination attempt on Daenerys by the merchant in, I think, A Clash of Kings.

Page 79: Bottom Middle "It made him feel like he was lord of the castle, in a way even Robb would never know" I think this is interesting because right here it is saying that Robb will never be in the royal seat of Winterfell. I don't know if George RR Martin planned out the Red Wedding at this point but it definitely seems like he planned on Robb's demise early on.

I know I jumped around a bit with the quotes but it seems like I get more out of the book when I underline quotes and such as I re-read the series. What do you guys do to make the most out of the series?
