Ser Greg of House House
Reasons I can think of: 1) Plot 2) fAegon is not ready to be revealed when Joff kicks Barry out 3) Resentment over the Ninepenny War 4) Barry is not the type to talk too much and/or conspire. He does his treason on his own. So maybe Varys didn't know he had decided to turn his cloak to dragons again.
Hippocras
^Varys helped him escape KL and hooked him up with Illyrio, who specifically sent him to Dany. So yes, Varys knew where he was headed and had his reasons for wanting Barristan with Dany and not Aegon.
Lord Martin
It's what Fire Eater said... With Drogo dead, Jorah changing loyalties and the birth of the dragons, Varys and Illyrio needed to get Dany (& more importantly her dragons) to Pentos to pair up w/ Aegon. Barristan the Bold is famous even to Dany and he knows as much as anyone about her family... So he is an alluring option. The point Hippocrates makes about the Golden Company and bad blood w/ Barristan also makes lots of sense.Lastly, he would recognize JonConn and perhaps Lemore depending on who she really is... Still, Barry probably didn't disclose all his intentions, so it would be risky for Varys to tell him he has an Aegon. Specially since Barry could call bulshit. Just imagine the chaos if Selmy goes to Dany telling her a cunning spider has a fake Targ pretender.

Just imagine the chaos if Selmy goes to Dany telling her a cunning spider has a fake Targ pretender. Varys felt the risk was too high to tell Barry of Aegon until the wedding. Once they were wed, he would be serving Aegon, not Dany. It was Jorah whom convinced Dany that she should build an army before meeting up with Illyrio in Pentos. If Barry had known of Aegon, he wouldn't have stayed with Dany. Barristan knows JonCon and the type of person he was...whatever fooled JonCon would have likely fooled Barry as well. But Varys didn't want to risk their secret getting out before they were ready. In hind site that was a mistake as Barry would have been honor bound to serve Aegon with the better claim. Varys had a reason to avoid telling Barry of Aegon, that doesn't mean he planned on Barry being a member of Dany's Queens Guard.
