RumHam Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 I don't mean to be daft, but what is an avatar provider? Mine was just an image I edited down to size myself. Also the problem isn't limited to avatars, the edit and quote buttons are not working for me and occasionally the reply text box is just not there. Lady Woodland Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 I uploaded a pic directly from my PC, I have been told it looks weird by poster "Weasel Pie" who was affected, but I can't see that mine is altered, I just ran a virus check & no problems I can see. If mine looks weird can someone please tell me, Weasel has his old Av "Davos" back now & he's about to log off but didn't think it was a problem on his end. It seems this might be the same problem as a few weeks ago. I just see some blank Av's, I have no issue with posting & my Av looks the same logged in & out, I did a scan to check & got nothing bad. Ran Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 My one thought is that Cloudflare, who provides CDN services, may have had a burp and it was providing the incorrect caches for images and scripts. I see no evidence of any actual problem, and the fact that it went away without any intervention from me doesn't suggest it's a server issue. Switched back and it would not work again. At least I have a workaround for now. Am I the only one of the effected avatar people having these problems?
