Abalone Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 So, I thought of starting this thread to give you some news regarding filming in Croatia...This is what is known so far: Filming will be held in three towns:Šibenik (first for the series, casting already done)Split (last season shot there, shooting starts 28.08.)Dubrovnik (2-4 seasons shot there,casting underway, shooting starts 22.09) Production in Croatia is handeled by a company called Embassy Films Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The production for the show received approval from the city officials of Dubrovnik to allow them to film a scene on the main street of oldtown which will include around 500 extras and one character from the show, walking naked through the old town...book readers will know what this is all about!
