Anyone see this? Might as well be Game of Rome lol. This is crazy.

Sean Bean (Ned stark) is Caesar (Beans going to die again lol), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Brandon Stark) is Octavian (the Starks are reuniting after all haha), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) is Cascas, and Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand) who was actually in HBO's Rome as Niobe will be portraying Calpurnias.

This is bizarre.

And Mackenzie Crook plays cassius XD

It also stars John Boyega I see, one of the new leads of Star Wars ;)

ETA: Just noticed it's going to be Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar. Trying to remember if Pompey was even in the play...

If that's the case, isn't Caesar a pretty small part (who, of course, since its Sean Bean, dies early)? As I recall, its Brutus and Mark Antony that are the leads (with Cassius following closely behind).

Yeah, I think Caesar dies about the mid-point.

Looks like The Borgias' Cesaro is playing Mark Anthony. I'm sure he'll tell us all about how Brutus is an honorable man.

Not small, exactly...I think somewhere around 150...but certainly not traditionally viewed as a lead. Ironically Caesar gets over double the lines in A&C. Antony has the most well known speech, but from what I recall both tyranicides have more lines.

We always know. I am imaging a cameo in a satire film where Sean Bean's character gets a huge build-up, strides dramatically to center stage and then explodes.

That's basically what happened in Equilibrium, only it wasn't satire.

Lol, awesome.

Yeah. I mean he does get I think two scenes in the first 10 minutes of the movie before he dies, but considering the buildup around him and the focus the marketing campaign had on him (Christian Bale wasn't that big a star yet), it was pretty laughable how small a part it was.

Ah, not as extreme as I hope to see, but pretty close. Weird thing was I have loved Bean for a long time but never connected his perpetual doom until the GoT chatter. I guess because he is still Sharpe in my mind before anything else.
