His facial expressions are also stiff and uninspiring... His hype just seems to come from the gimmick that is Tyrion, i.e. a scheming, alcoholic, sex - addicted dwarf. Thoughts? It would've taken a truly bad actor to screw up such a great character. However, Dinklage is brilliant without a shadow of a doubt. He has proven that in other roles as well. He gave one of the the best performances of being heavily drunk (the wedding with Sansa) I have ever seen. Just compare that with the guy who played Dontos in the scene with Sansa in the Godswood. His accent is pretty bad at times and there have been many cringeworthy scenes of he and Shae, but that's due to Sibel Kekili's terrible acting. What is a medieval accent anyway? I said one of, not the worst. Why did I only mention Dinklage? Well, he's the only one who receives any praise for the acting in the series, from what I've seen. Oh, and don't worry, the bratty dragon girl and the male Kirsten Stewart are lumped in the same bunch. You didn't make a realistic and defensible position apparent (i.e., Peter Dinklage isn't as good as people say), you just made a crazy statement (The Moon is made up of real swiss cheese, Fox News is Fair and Balanced).
