I must name my dog

I entered into an agreement today to buy a dog from a local shelter if she isn't claimed by Saturday.

She's a gorgeous Brown and White Siberian Husky, 2 years old. Also, she's got a weird thing in her left eye that's like half- heterochromia. Her right eye is sky blue, but her left eye is blue on top but turns to brown on the bottom. I've never heard of such a thing, but it's very endearing.

Surprisingly, she was very shy and almost skittish, but very friendly, while most Huskies are energetic and bold.

She's a bit overweight, so I'm hoping we can whip each other into shape when I get out of the army in a few weeks.

The only names I've come up with so far are Hilde, Freya, and Princess (she just seems like a princess). Obviously, I'm hoping for a few westerosi influences, but I'll just get it out of the way and state that she's not an Arya or Brienne of Tarth.

So, any help peoples?

Oh, and a picture. Please focus on the gorgeous dog to the left and not the hideous monster to the right. ;)

Maybe she is a princess. My cat is a viscount. Viscount Vinnie Cornelius Corleone, more names, more names, titles, titles.

Dog aren't that pretentious. Name her Princess Something. Princess Ygritte...??

If you want a ASOIAF name, name her Perra, like Perra Royce, which means "bitch" in Spanish. Literally. Princess Perra Royce, titles, titles.

EDIT: Princess Nymeria sounds AWESOME

The dog we adopted was brown with some white patches. We went through the obvious Brownie, Choco, Peanut. Then my partner saw a Mini Cooper, we were driving, and she says we should name him Cooper. So we went with that. It's a great name for a dog.

Just a little story of how our dog's name came to us.

Sciborg3, Sciborg12, and Sciborg44 are all available.

Dr. Girlfriend

I was once at a party and the conversation turns to cats. I joke that having a cat is like being in a bad relationship wherein one party is both demanding and distant, at which this guy jumps up and angrily yells, 'THAT'S SO TRUE! THEY ONLY LOVE YOU ON THEIR TIME, NOT ON YOUR TIME!!!"

I think everyone was startled, and someone quickly shifted the conversation. To this day I don't know if dude was angry about a cat or a relationship.

Nymeria is a good aSoIaF name, but kind of unwieldy unless you shorten it to something like Nimi or the like, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Our Siberians were respectively named Daisy (after Daisy Buchanan) Tara, and Tasha. I like Mishka too, after the Internet phenomenon "Mishka the Talking Huskie."

She's beautiful. I like Freya, too.

These are supposed to mean princess

Amira

Grace

Maya (or Mya for the westerosi touch)

I like Zara too, and I won't be insulted if you call her Gilly

Oh, Hitomi - blue eyes (japanese)

I had a nap this afternoon and this really is the first thread I looked at since waking up. While was asleep I had a dream about getting a new puppy. I got her from a Russian diplomat for some reason :dunno:

anyway, because of that I named her Anastasia, I figured I'd call her Annie or Stacy for short.

ETA:

The dog is gorgeous BTW!

I was hoping you would provide a picture when I started reading the post; she's gorgeous. I'd go for Freya, I really like that name. Nymeria not so much, it does not roll off the tongue as well as I'd like.
