Ironborn Season 5 (Possible Spoilers for non-readers)

Possible spoilers for non-readers but I have just found this link perusing imdb news for GoT, does this mean that the Greyjoy uncles are to be cast/announced for season 5 as there has been nothing yet?

I hope so as cutting their storyline or merging it to Asha/Yara I feel would be a mistake and I quite enjoyed their POV chapters reading the books - although not so much for Damphair, who until after my second read through I was pronouncing Dam-fair not Damp-hair.

Thoughts?

For all the build-up they've been doing for Yara, they can't be excising the ironborn plot. I don't know if it'll play out as a kingsmoot, but I see her being rejected as Balon's heir not because of her gender, but because of her failed assault on the Dreadfort. I see a lot of Arianne's characterization being given to Yara, with the added resentment of being overlooked as the rightful heir, and it would add an intriguing facet to the show's portrayal of the ironborn as actually being more progressive in female progenitor rights than the rest of Westeros.

I made a thread about how it could play out here: http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/115017-the-kingsmoot-dilemma-could-it-happen-like-this-affcadwd-spoilers/

I´m sure they will cut the kingsmoot. Although I think it´d be awesome and would personally love to see it in an episode similar to Battle of Blackwater bay or the battle of the wall. Just build up for it and do it in Episode 3. (Then do an episode 9 full on Mereen dragon-pit-badassery).

But they won´t.

It´s not the end of the world if the guy playing Euron is pretty cool and we still get some of Yara´s (Asha´s) henchmen and Deepwood Motte.

They won't do Kingsmoot in season 5, not when they are introducing Dorne as well as the faceless men in Braavos, along with more than 5 new 'main characters'

It would be way too much for one season...

I hope I'm wrong though...I really enjoyed that plot line.

I'm really interested in what the thoughts or mentality of the writers were in regards to the scenes from Moat Cailin last season. They had a shoestring crew holding it; we know it's b/c Vic had to leave for the kingsmoot and thought they would be fine, didn't know of the threat from the boltons. But show-only fans have no idea what was going on there and i feel like they have to show the full strength of the ironborn or have it be that they are a very small population of raiders and make them different. They've kinda put the ironborn on the backburner and are treading water with it, just the feeling i'm getting. I am confident they will include Euron as he's too huge and too interesting a character not to bring in; a Game of Thrones x rated, psychotic Jack Sparrow. I am anxious they will not include Victarion, especially from the updated hbo family tree that's been going around. Here's hoping that Bran and Hodors season 5 deferral is planned around making the iron islands - and the vale - as big a part of season 5 as Dorne has been.
