Aegon and Viserys

If Illyrio knew of Aegon, why didn't he tell Viserys? Was it because Viserys was a bit crazy? In that case, why not feed him some of the mushrooms from his garden? I am sure Dany would have been much more adaptable to his plans before they sold her to the Dothrahki.

Or am I going in the wrong direction on this one?

Personally i think they were backing (f)Aegon, wanted Dany but didn't need her, and big brother was a liability.

Just a thought but if the IT was doling out lordships to whoever killed the beggar king why not let (f)Aegon tale credit, get lands and a castle and have a base of operations in westoros. Bring the Golden Company over and start the battle for the throne

If Viserys Knew of Aegon then so would Ser jorah he would tell the Rob B and he would start asking questions like: how the fuck did he escaped? and who helped him escape? Not only would he have assassins after him but Varys might lose his head.

Start his campaign with kinslaying surely would bring many supporters for his claim... I mean Aegon the Uncleslayer sounds even worse than Aegon the Unworthy
