Jaime or Tyrion- Who's more moral?

Game Of Thrones

I think Jaime is more moral, for killing Aerys II.

Which character would stand back and allow Aerys to burn themselves, their father, their friends, and countless innocents to death?

Tyrion: As he has attempted to kill and later maim two innocent children.

Tryion raped Tysha??? That's still debatable, though I don't think he himself would have had a choice, as his father was there to make sure it happened. But! Jaime was the one who lied to Tyrion, and basically the reason she was gang raped by Lannister men. Also, Jaime shoved Bran out the window (not moral) Also... is it immoral to kill the man who himself doesn't have a shred of morality... even if it's your father? No, I think Tyrion killing his father, is no different from Jaime killing the king, both actions end up staining their honor, but the people they killed were vile monsters.

Tyrion is a kinslayer and a rapist. Jaime attempted to murder a child that had the capability to destroy what he lived for.

Sorry, but I have to give this one to Jaime.

Who did Tyrion rape??

The Sunset Girl, and Tysha. But I think the poster is talking about the former.

So let me get this right you go into a place of business were you pay money to sleep with your selected partner that's rape? Dude Charlie Sheen should be shot if that is the case

Lol So for 2 weeks Tyrion was just raping this girl? Even after Jamie admits she was what she was medieval times i swear man

You think she wanted to consent to sex with him after being passed around his father's guardsmen? I'm aware it was a loving, consensual relationship at first. But after Tywin find out and gave her to his guards...

Hold on, regarding Tysha. Clearly it was a loving relationship at first, and when it was ''revealed'' that she was a whore, can you hold him to account as a rapist, when he didn't believe he was raping anyone? Not to mention being a 13 year old dwarf coerced by his father. Yes, it would clearly be defined as rape, but no I don't think he should be condemned to the same level as other rapists.

Although, there is the Sunset Girl.

I think it's too close to call, really.

:agree: Thanks for reading my mind.

Jaime. By a very small margin, mostly based on the fact that he isn't a rapist.

Who did Tyrion rape??

Two sex slaves.

If you know the girl to be a slave? Oh yes, definitely!

Well, yes. Though him being 13 at the time would prevent a trial or punishment. Actually, Tywin would be judged guilty of raping Tyrion in that instance.

I think the case with Tysha has extenuating circumstances because Tyrion, at 13, couldn't really be expected to stand up to his father. My feeling on these two is Tyrion starts more moral, but then is pushed into the gray area by things he goes through (betrayal by Shae--her murder is pretty dark, but arguably a crime of passion)--

Jaime, on the other hand, starts out pretty rotten and gets much better--he benefits morally from seeing a model of a true knight in Brienne and gaining some humility through the loss of his hand (and his symbolic loss of the connection to Cersei because that is the hand that clung to her when they were born--so that is when he begins to be less like her and begins to become morally grounded.

In the end, I'm not sure I think one is better than the other so much that they are BOTH highly influenced by their circumstances.

Jaime also tried to cut off Arya's hand, and we can't blame Tyrion for killing Tywin under the circumstances and who did Tyrion rape? Tysha, who he thought was a whore, or the Sunset Girl, who was a whore?

Which is worse, getting poked in the eye with a stick or an icicle? Answering this question is similar to that. Each has done horrible immoral things(especially when judged with 20th century eyes) and each has done things that are redeeming. IMO, it really just comes down to do you like the gallant knight or the sarcastic underdog.

So, for me, it's Tyrion
