varunpats18
I was wondering, if given a choice, would varys kill off tommen since he is on young Griffin's side? But it could do more harm than good. Because, if tommen is killed, myrcella would be the rightful heir and since she is betrothed to trystane Martell, that means the dornishmen would just get the iron throne. And then, since they will be the ones sitting on the throne, they wouldn't support young Griffin. They might even oppose him.
Arataniello
I think Tommen is safe from Varys for the time being, only because his reign (via Cersei and the fractious court in King's Landing) is causing so much turmoil, all of which is beneficial to Varys' schemes for Aegon. As soon as Tommen has outlived his usefulness, all bets are off. It's pretty certain that he WILL die at some point, given Megy the Forg's prophecy. JonCon's Red Beard
"Time enough to cross the sea, to see Griffin's Roost again. To end the Usurper's line for good and all, and put Rhaegar's son upon the Iron Throne".
