Ser Daegon
Anyone have any idea what is going on with Martin's latest blog post titled "A Favorite Character?" I feel like he finished a chapter where he killed off a "favorite" of his. Oh shit... Julia Martell
Let the wild speculation and mud slinging begin! I wouldn't be surprised if it was Tyrion.
yolkboy
Isn't this a reference to Grrm saying he's sick of answering who his fav characters are - and if he's asked again will respond with his fav. characters of other books. Each time a different one. (?)

Ser Daegon
Maybe, maybe not... he says that he loves all his POV characters, even Victarion. His "boats against the current" quote.... I wonder if this is a clue.
Pod The Impaler
 If it is Arya Stark, I will be far beyond pissed off. But truly, this is proof of nothing.
Julia Martell
It's Tyrion, only he would warrant this. You're probably right. But he claims to love ALL his POVs. (I just hope it's not my girl :-( )

ShadowCat Rivers
It's Barristan... GRRM has lots of affection for Ser Grandfather, it shows in how he's written. He gave him an appropriate death, sword-in-hand, fighting for something he believed was right. Maybe he also gave Victarion his glorious fight he always dreamed of.His last (published) chapter, talking to his newly made knights, gives so much the feeling that the end is near...Just sayin'
