I have white shoulder length hair and wanted to cosplay as a targaryen for comic con. I know that Dany had her hair burnt off twice. I don't know of anyone else. I could do Dany after getting burned but no one would get it since they didn't show it in the tv show. She wore it long, pulled back, and braided, and was always being told it was her crowning beauty. She did however cut it off, in retaliation against her brother Baelor, for imprisoning her in the Maidenvault. Afterwards she wore her hair in short for years. Are you drawing a further subdivision between "long past the shoulders, falling down over the back" and "long enough to just reach the shoulders"? A couple of female Targaryens may have had shoulder-length hair, though many wore it long. But you have to be careful: Elaena had bizarre hair even by Targaryen standards. Targaryen hair is usually silver to white, or sometimes with hints of gold hairs intermixed. On rare occasion, some even had hair that was more towards gold than silver-white - such as Elaena's sister Rhaena. But Elaena had mostly "normal" Targaryen hair of silver-white...with a single large streak of gold in the front. Think like, X-Men's Rogue in reverse (who had brown hair with a white streak in it). Elaena dressed dourly in blacks and was a fairly interesting character. Outlived her siblings and through her husband became the real Master of Coin in all but name (her husband just did what she told him to); remarried for political reasons, had a long love affair with with of the few surviving Dragonseeds (Alyn Velaryon) etc... Also, hair extensions can be cheap if you buy slightly used on ebay. You can bleach them yourself and hair extensions blend into natural hair so well it will look just like your own. I have a pair I'd sell you cheaply/next to nothing, from before my hair finally grew out but they are bright red and I fear you'd never get the red out.
