[Book Spoilers] Bran time in the cave + future HBO production

For some time now there has been in the works another shown on HBO from GRRM's universe. This show will be set in Westeros but it will be independent from GOT with brand new everything. Producers etc... the works.

GRRM has apparently confirmed that he has been in discussion with HBO in an adaptation of The Dunk and Egg Novellas.

Now my point is. Do you think there going to do the supposed Dunk + Old Nan scene in Brans series of visions from the POV of the tree.

How neat would it be to have a glimpse of Dunk before the next show comes out.

I don't think there is any of this. The most Martin has said is he is interested in adapting them, and know having worked with him producers might be reluctant to do so again.

The Dunk and Egg stories require a lot of backstory, and there isn't enough material for a show.

i think there is enough to get a series going. i could see GRRM work as a screenwriter on dunk and egg as he puts off writing his 9th book of ASOIF.

i feel like the truth of what happened at summerhall will be much bigger in the books compared to the tv series so that could get moved to a dunk and egg series.
