A decent matchup, but Walder Rivers would've been a better foe. Hotah vs Balon Swann: This one is the toughest to call. Both are formidable. I'll wait for winds to decide this. If Swann manages to give Darkstar, Hotah, and Obara and tough fight while outnumbered, I'll give it to him.Garlan Tyrell vs Gerold Hightower: Garlan. Jorah is an experienced knight. Thoros stands no chance.Robb vs Jon: definetly Jon. First, it is mentioned that is the better sword and Robb the better lance, second: Practice. Robb may have been near the front in his battles, but battle combat is different to a duel. And most of his battles took place on horseback. Jaime mentions his loyalty, but not his fighting ability. Of course, given the high standard of Aerys' Kingsguard, he probably was pretty good, but it's never said that he's near the very top, as Garlan is. Swordsman beats spearman all day any day IMO.I think the mountain wins against almost anyone. He's a tank basically. Robert would need to be on horse back to stand a chance.Eddard would beat Beric especially wielding 'Ice'. I don't doubt it'd be close. Plus I love our Ned. I would say Arthur Dayne but I'm not sure how he died. Both he and Selmy are 'legendary' so I can't see there being a wrong answer to that. Selmy doesnt have a fancy sword so... nope can't call it.Ser Jorah? No idea but I like Ser Jorah more.Loras is a renown swordsman but Bronn is a crafty bugger! I'll go with Loras. He's won dozens of melees where Jorah won one tourney and failed at all the others.
