The Seven are the only "fake" gods

From the 5 religions that have ever been in westeros (The 7, old gods, drowned god,r'hlorr, and the valyrian faith) we have seen only 4 out of 5 show any power whatsoever

old gods have green dreams and warging

drowned god has people coming back from the dead (aeron damphair for example)

the valyrian faith being the only faith that allows control over dragons ( I know that the fot7 targs had dragons aswell but they were muuuuuuuch weaker than the original 3)

and ofcourse r'hlorr the biggest religion in the world, smallest in westeros, but obviously, the most powerfull. it can ressurect people, make shadow babies reveal the future and much much more

in truth, the only religion we haven't seen showing "godly" powers is ironiclly the biggest one in westeros, apart from its holy orders, the fot7 is probably "fake" as in non existent in planetos we haven't seen any of the 7 helping characters (catelyn prayed to the mother but lost all her children), (jamie prayed to the warrior but lost the battle against robb and eventually, his arm) (davos prayed to the smith but lost his navy)

really, any character that prays to seven for anything, will most likely lose it .

There's also the Dothraki and Ghiscari religions.

I think all the gods are lies. They are magic taking forms. Melisandre using magic and powders, a ritual to create shadow babies. Green seeing and warging. These are all aspects of the world and people see them as religious figures.

i was talking about westerosi religons

well obviously the magic has some connection to a character's religion, we have never seen or heard of a fot7 person warging. even sansa which was sort of half and half, didn't have her brothers's warging powers

So that's the old gods and the new. We already know the old gods are just green seers locked into a constant web of forever seeing. The 7 are basically based off of what it takes to operate a village or town. Mothers, fathers, warriors, smiths, crones, maids, and strangers. They are all necessary to run society.

aegon the conquerer believed in the valyrian faith, which has something to do with dragons but after he counquered oldtown he decided to convert so everybody would like him dragonstone is probably the only place it was worshiped in westeros, but since they ruled all westeros with this faith i decided to include it

Aegon converted to the Fot7 in Oldtown. Saying that Valyrian polytheism is a Westerosi religion is ridiculous.

It would be a bit nihilistic if the only gods in Westeros that were "fake" were the only ones who are not completely evil. In any event, making pacts with demons because those demons offer certain personal power-benefits hardly seems like a good idea.

In any event, we have never directly seen the demon-gods, like Rhllor, either. And there is at least indirect evidence that the Seven do have power. The Mother is implied to have saved Davos from drowning; and he heard her voice in his head afterwards. The Seven are also said to have saved the Elder Brother from drowning; at least, waking up on the Quiet Isle after falling unconscious on the Trident seems miraculous indeed (how did he survive unconscious in the river?). The Seven are said to have gifted the Elder Brother with healing hands. Lancel claims the Seven send him visions, and we don't know where that's going yet.

well i guess we should talk about essosi religions too if you guys decided tha the valyrian faith is essosi

well there are a ton of esossi religions, many of which we dont know about but after remembering them all i only discovered 2 that might make the "real" count both of them are beliefs in real people though

the braavosi moonsingers are one of them, they are basicly the founders of braavos so the slaves worshiped them, obvioussly they had some power if they could hide such a huge city like braavos from the sprawling valyrian empire

the second one is the warlocks of qarth, we know they are real and im pretty sure they are worshiped by most of the qartheen as godlike figures

Braavos was originally smaller.

ETA: Probably.
