Favorite POVs

Prince Lou of House Reed

Recommended Posts

Arya (in AGoT, AFFC and ADwD)

Dany (after AGoT)

Tyrion (in ACoK and ASoS)

Sansa (before reaching the Vale)

Cersei (always)

dornish POV chapters (mainly Arianne)

Bran (once he reaches Brynden Rivers)

I also enjoy the chapters in which a POV character interacts with or talks of Dany.

In need of mentioning: I don't like all of them as characters, regardless of how much I enjoy reading their chapters.

Interesting question. For me the answer is that a lot of the long-term POVs (Jon, Bran, Dany etc.) have had their ups and downs which is natural over the course of so many chapters and plot lines. For example, some people who enjoyed Tyrion in aGoT might not have enjoyed some of his chapters in aDwD.

Most of the prologue/epilogue POVs have been solid. Ned's were solid, but sadly too few. In the more recent books, I've enjoyed Victarion and Barristan.
