I had absolutely no idea this game would draw that many participants, and last that long, and be opened in its third edition. Thank you for all the enthusiastic players that made it possible. :) You are still always welcome to complain, or offer opinions about the rules, or suggest improvements you feel are necessary. :) The new thing about this thread is that I also have a life (surprise!) and I will probably not be online that much when October starts (though to think of it, by October you all are able to fill a whole new thread with guesses already), plus I also want to do some guessing, so we will need a different host. First of My Name has kindly offered to do it, so this is how we will do: I will post the remaining photos for you to guess, but all new contributions should be sent to First of My Name. He will post his first riddle after I run out of those I already have. Thank you for your kind and quick offer of hosting this really nice game - I am sure you will do a great job with it! :cheers: Copied from the original thread, for possible and always welcome new participants Thinking about the Handwriting Game from last year, I got an idea for a similar one, with the same purpose to get to know our fellow forumers a bit better and to have lots of fun. The difference between this and the other game is that instead of the author of handwriting samples, you will be guessing who the owner of certain objects is. The rules are simpleYou upload a photo of an object you own on a picture hosting site of your choosing (imgur, imageshack, photobucket, flickr, postimage ... ) and send the direct link to the photo to First of My Name by PM. I will post the links on this thread with clues to the owner's identity. You try to guess which forumer has sent a particular submission. You are allowed to guess even if you have not sent an entry and you are allowed to send an entry, but decide not to guess. After the owner is guessed, he/she is free to share an explanation/story behind the object if he/she so chooses. The owner is allowed to reveal themselves at any time if he/she so chooses. FOMN will be accepting entries until there is interest for guessing (or until he grows tired of it and hands it over to somebody else, I guess :P ).Rules as to what objects qualifyThe object you submit for the other posters to guess the owner of can be anything that you have and in some way signifies you - it will act as a clue to your identity.Safe for kids, safe for work rule applies.The photo can have more than one object on it.You can make the clue as easy or as difficult as possible.Examples:If you have posted plenty of times that you do tap-dancing, and then post a photo of your tap-dancing shoe, it will be a dead giveaway.If you are the only Italian who often posts in Forum Games and post a photo of your Italian copy of A Game of Thrones, it will be easy too.If you have never talked to any other poster about your knitting passion and then post a photo of a lovely scarf kintted by yourself, it will be tougher to guess.If you post a photo of a generic pencil or a loaf of bread, nobody will get it and I will probably ask you to reconsider your choice of the object.
