The Knight of Greenfield
I was reading this theory on the forum and it got me thinking, IF Edric is the son of Ashara and Brandon where would that put him in the line of succession of Winterfell, would he be above Bran, Rickon and the rest? I'm not saying that he is 100% the child of Brandon and Ashara and appreciate the various theory's surrounding both him, his parentage and Ashara but if we were to say for arguments sake that he was the child of B+A, would he become above the rest as the child of the orginal heir? LordQorgyle
First place it is IMPOSSIBLE for Edric to be Brandon's son, for that to be true he should have been older than Robb, Second even if there was a possibility of him being Brandon's son he would be a bastard and a bastard comes always after a legitimate children

Bright Blue Eyes
Apart from needing to be about ten years older than he is, he is not in the succession at all. No bastard is. Wrong Edric would come before Jon because he would be the son of Lord Rickard's heirEdric isn't in it at all. Even Jon is only in because Robb explicitlly legitimized him. LordQorgyle
Yeah if Robb testament comes in account it would be:Robb, Bran, Rickon, Jon, Sansa, Arya, Edric But it is impossible that Edric is Brandon's son
Jon's Queen Consort
If Edric was Brandon's son then someone has opened the very first sperm and ova banks bank in Westeros. Edric is 12 and he was born in 287, Brandon died in 281 and Ashara in 283.

Jon's Queen Consort
Fixed for you. Not really. Per Robb's will: Jon-Bran-Rickon-Arya.
LordQorgyle
I think Jon would come first since even a legitimized comes before a girl in sucession laws
Bright Blue Eyes
Not really. Per Robb's will: Jon-Bran-Rickon-Arya. In that case, it's actually: Jon(-Arya). And the Arya part is doubtful.

Jon's Queen Consort
In that case, it's actually: Jon(-Arya). And the Arya part is doubtful. Right. I believe that Robb disinherited Bran, Rickon and Arya too in order to prevent imposters to claim the Throne.
LordQorgyle
Right. I believe that Robb disinherited Bran, Rickon and Arya too in order to prevent imposters to claim the Throne. Why would he disinherited Bran and Rickon if everybody thought they were dead? The only Stark child that could have been disinherited is Sansa

The only Stark child that could have been disinherited is Sansa What people think never stopped an imposter from claiming a Throne. Notable examples; False Dmitriy I I (Dmitry of Uglich), False Dmitriy II (Dmitry of Uglich), False Dmitriy III (Dmitry of Uglich), Richemont (Louis XVII), Naundorff (Louis XVII), Williams (Louis XVII), Perkin Warbeck (Richard of Shrewsbury) Especially in Bran's and Rickon's case when people know that he is alive. Robb didn't knew it but since there are people who know it they could be pretenders. Remember what Wyman told "The wolf will prove the boy is who we say he is, should the Dreadfort attempt to deny him." Which means that they know about pretenders. How someone could eliminate that thread? By disinheriting them too.

That happened in the Real World, not in Westeros, and in all those cases there weren't cases in wich the body's showed up like in the case of Bran and Rickon..
