How many hints at Cannibalism has there been?

The Fourth Head

Recommended Posts

A harrowingly long list. If I forget any, please let me know.

1) Dany picturing a beautiful woman with Dwarves biting her breasts

2) Singer Stew

3) Biter biting people- eventually eating Brienne's face

4) Vargo Hoat being forced to eat his own feet and hands

4b) The other prisoners, including Wylis Manderley eating parts of Vargo Hoat

5) Frey Pie- all the Lords of the North may have eaten Freys

6) The Skagosi allegedly are cannibals

7) A tribe north of the wall is identified as being cannibals- I can't recall their name

8) Stannis' men resorting to cannibalising the dead to fend of starvation and being burned.

(12) Tyrion being fond of bacon burnt black - foreshadows the idea of a dragon that is fond of devouring people (just a thought).

(13) Dany allowing her dragons to eat human flesh (the human heads offered by Daario) could be a sort of cannibalism by proxy

(14) The Tale of the Rat Cook

(15) Summer eating human flesh = more cannibalism by proxy

(16) Varamyr Sixskins' story; emphasizing cannibalism as Abomination.

the wildling tribe is ice river clan I believe. or was it the black foots?

It's the ice river clans. The black foots (presume you mean hornfoots - those who go bare-feet) aren't mentioned as cannibals as far as I recall.

ETA... the 'pork' Coldhands provides (?)
