When ist the Vale going to enter the War?

Tyrion and Barristan will land in the vale with Danys forces. A Khalasar, an army of Unsullied, three sellsword groups, Victarion and two dragons.

They will enlist the help of the mountain clans to get to these high lords castles. They will see the force they have and bend their knee to the three headed dragon banners.

They will declare for Dany and aid her against Aegon and the Others

My guess is that they will only fight when directly threatened....

And if Dany lands anywhere it wont be the Vale, it will be Dragonstone, but thats a big if....

I think that Aegon will own the storm and crown lands as well as Dorne, so they will need to land in the vale.

Dany I believe will land in the reach after riding Drogon around the world.

If this happens I can see The Vale lords fighting against Dany and her barbarian horde to the bitter end , not a good move for Dany.

I see them doing something fast in TWOW (or will be too late with Winter blocking the mountain passes for years)

If Petyr isn't removed from power, I find likely he'll convince them to attack the Freys, getting Riverlands support (and making Petyr title recognized), then march north (for Sansa's claim).

About same moves if Sansa-becoming-a-player removes Petyr, with the difference that Petyr is intelligent and good diplomat enough to keep Sansa idendity secret and make the IT believe that what he'll do will be in the crown interest (ie : removing the unpopular Freys and Boltons who failed in their tasks) ; while an unveiled Sansa ruling (or wife of HH the ruler) can only lead the crown to see the same moves as an open revolt.

If Petyr is removed / killed fast but with Royce taking power (Great Lord Declarants Conspiracy), I think they are more likely to support Aegon or start an idependance war, than to remain loyal vassals of Lannister/Tyrell power, but they'd probably be more likely to move south.

They can try. But fire and blood have taken the Vale before. Don't forget there are two dragons in play.

Dany has rallied an army of slaves, sellswords, pirates, barbarians, and exiles. Nobody will want to be conquered by them. They can raise their swords against them if they want, but it will only be worse for them.

Two untrained , young , without riders to ride them , The Vale could lose but it will also be worse for Dany because after The Vale she must go and fight Aegon and her army won't be that strong after The Vale.

Victarion or Brown Ben Plumm could be riding them by this point. So say they land in Gulltown and take it immediately. Now they can march right up to the mountains of the moon and attack from all sides with their enemy nearly unawares. They can get into position by using secret areas known by the mountain clans.

Or they just lay waste to the Eerie with dragon fire for all the vale to see.

That's wishful thinking,

I doubt that Vic and Ben will ride dragons , they won't take Gulltown easily ( except if the Graftons join them ) if they chose to fight there will be losses on both sides hint ( Aegon I tried to take Gulltown and lost ) , Dotrhaki marching up to the mountains of the moon will be a suicide , using secret areas will be impossible because of winter and snow , none of the Dragons will be able to waste the Eyrie because of winter , See this

I think they will fight on Dany's side in the second Dance. It will be the next place her forces land after Dragonstone.

Except the Vale hasn't declared for anyone, and Tyrion is an increasingly skilled politician. He could win over the most powerful Arryn bannerman, Bronze Yohn Royce, whom Tyrion can offer both Robert Arryn and justice for his son Robar who was killed by Loras. They both have a common enemy in LF, and Bronze Yohn would doubtless like some help to unseat him. The Vale fought on Rhaenyra's side in the Dance lest we forget.
