Maltaran
The BBC has set up what they're calling the Genome Project, where you can look up the TV and radio listings for every day since 1923. At the time I was born, BBC1 was showing the Nine O'Clock News, followed by Whicker's World, while BBC2 was showing Pot Black. Other things on that day included live snooker presented by David Icke, and an episode of the Twilight Zone written by Richard Matheson. So what was on when you were born? Nymeria10k
I think I was born in the afternoon/evening, April 20 1994, there was a lot of snooker on and some star trek. Both things my dad used to love. Charming.

I have been told before but I can't remember what time I was born.. On the day the TV schedules seem quite different to modern schedules, BBC2 seems to stop broadcasting for half the afternoon and when it returns there's a teatime Open University program entitled Partial Differential Equations. Apparently David Icke was presenting sport on Newsnight at the time, presumably this was before he started revealing the truth about our space lizard overlords. BBC1 also seems to be shutdown for most of the morning. In the evening it has a documentary with some predictions about the future of television : Kieran Prendiville predicts every roof, car park and garden may soon sport its own dish-aerial which picks signals out of the sky and converts them into new and specialised business services and television programmes from all over Europe.. I suppose that must have seemed quite Science Fictional back in 1981.

April the 20th is also my Mother's birthday.

Nox Irradiata
Pretty cool idea. :) I was born at 3:30ish in the morning, though, so no TV listings for me on that site.
