dRagonese
I believe that it is a little depressing to see GRRM do what he has with Bran. The power that it seems Bran has could now allow GRRM to pretty much write anything he wants and use it as the reason. For example if R + L = J. I was really looking forward to the reveal now I am afraid somehow bran is just going to go back in time and see what really happened on Lyannas death bed and that is just anti climatic. Also Bran can go almost anywhere and see anything so now GRRM could use his POV's to pretty much clear up any unanswered questions and I am not looking forward to that. I love the books and have no problem with dragons, warlocks and magic but making one person so powerful is just a little bit unsettling. Does anyone else feel this way and if not help me understand how this is a positive for the story.
golden_eyes
I feel that limitless power is counteracted by Bran's demeanor. He still just wants to be a knight, and a warrior instead of a seer.

I wouldn't want to diminish the "time traveler" aspect (one which I do not prescribe) but there are several who think that Bran may have been "duped" into the Cave of Skulls for his ultimate replacement of Bloodraven as the Next Greenseer. There are other elements tugging at Bran, especially those when he plugs into the WW-net and see's past, future, and maybe more importantly current events. Do not be dismayed about our young wolf Bran.....search other forums and topics. I would even suggest dropping by the Heresy threads, which focuses on things North of the Wall and anything associated with the Starks.
