Roose on the Loose
Dany visits the sick and dying. She has no qualms about getting sick because dragons don't get sick. Or so she believes.
DarkSister1001
I'm sure the germ transmission in Planetos is like it is in the real world. We get illnesses that don't pass to our dogs or cats. Barristan talks about a flux going through the ranks of soldiers but never mentions the animals getting sick.
Rhaenys_Targaryen
Dany visits the sick and dying. She has no qualms about getting sick because dragons don't get sick. Or so she believes. And several chapters later she gets sick herself ;) Targaryens can get sick, just ask King Daeron II, or princes Valarr and Matarys, who all died of sickness. Spoilers for the Winds of Winter: We learn from Barriston that Viserion is catching and eating corpses infested with the flux that were thrown by the Wicked Sister. What are the chances that Viserion is going to get sick and die? It depends. The Pale Mare might only be a disease lethal to humans. In that case, Viserion will be fine. None of the Targs that died in the Great Spring Sickness were dragon riders. The last dragon was 50 years dead. I realize that Even Dany isn't completely fireproof, and she did get the shits from eating the wrong berries, but that hardly counts as disease. Jaehaerys I was a dragonrider, and he died of illness, for example. Even dragonriders can get sick, being a dragonrider doesn't matter. And even if it did, Dany hasn't been raised with such a belief, so she wouldn't know what the difference of being or not being a dragonrider would be in such a case. FireAndBlood.
I don't think dragons have to worry about dysentery. No variety of bacteria would survive in the stomach of fire made flesh.
EddardsHead
If Viseron is roasting the bodies with dragon fire I would imagine that would kill the germs lol
Roose on the Loose
If Dany put some of her freedmen to digging a decent sewer system, the whole problem would go away.
Mithras
Dragons eat and shit like normal animals. I guess they can get sick like normal animals too. ETA: I am looking forward to see Tyrion removing shit under Viserion with a spade.

Of course dragons, with or without wings grow old and die. Presumably their superpowers deteriorate along with the rest of their faculties.
