Harry The Heir- Will he be a Arryn of the Eyrie?

Recommended Posts

House Arryn is one of mine absolute favorite Houses. It is something with the high mouantains and deep vales with beautiful hill flowers and dangerous tribesmen. I like to see The Vale as a giant fortress and the Arryns the soaring Masters and protectors of it all. In the days of the Winged Knight the Arryns was as high as hounor.

It is really sad to see how to see The Arryns of The Eyrie now, with only one true living memeber of the original line, and not someone I actually like, but he is the son of Jon Arryn, really cool character. But if Robert dies, Harry Hardyng will ascend to the Eyrie as SweetRobins heir.

I wonder if Harry Hardyng will found the House Hardyng of the Eyrie, which is what Lancel Lannister did with the Darry or will he accept the name, sigil and word, Orys Baratheon style, of Japser Arryn as the last member of his House?

Harys Arryn The Young Falcon makes him sound older and more fierce. Harry will always sound like a kids name. but idk if he would go that far. for LF to be with Sansa, which i think will happen at some point before LF dies horribly, he needs to marry her off to Harry (which is against the Faith as she is already married to Tyrion) and then kill Harry in a way that isn't suspicious.

Sansa marries Harry. LF kills SR Harry is lord and Sansa Lady. LF arranges for Harry to die "heroically" and swoops in and marries the newly widowed lady of the Vale. the lords of the Vale would have no case as Sansa is the Lady and protector of the Vale by law and she can choose to marry F if she wishes. and LF will make her wish it

Three if you could the North, and by the looks of it, there is not much anyone can do to stop him. he is in the middle of a power play that will give him 3/7 of the kingdom. The largest kingdom (North), the best armed at present (Vale), and one of the best for food production (river lands). Stannis is stuck up north at the moment the Lannisters are weakened and the IB are on their way to Essos. there isn't an army that could match him.

I don't think Harry will ever become Lord of the Vale. If he does only for a short time. LF has other plans for the Vale. Ones where he rules it

He doesn't want the Vale. LF is aiming way higher than that. House Littlefinger's words should be "Go big or go home."

OP, I don't expect Harry to live long enough to become lord of the Vale, but if he does then I expect him to take the Arryn name.

I am going to assume that LF has a grander plan that just the Vale. He has his fingers in the the Vale, Riverlands and North. THe questions beckons, who is he really working with? The tv show portends it is the Tyrells but i've got to believe they are pawns as well. Since he is of low birth, becoming king would be very hard for him to do. IMO it leaves only one really possibility - perhaps he is working with the Citadel to bring an end to the feudal system. He could sit upon the throne as a manager per se.
