Robb_Warged
I usually see Daario met with hate or disapproval when mentioned. I don't really know how Dany fans feel about him though What do you guys think about Daario?
Lopsang
Inb4crapfest. I think Daario is a good device to show how Dany is stressed, and still looking for her identity. Daario sounds like the last person you'd want to bed with; he's not very loyal, he's brutal, he's loud-mouthed, and a kind of fast-living type of guy. Kind of easy to see how he just wants to be able to claim that he's slept with the beautiful dragonlady. All of this being true, Dany is oblivious to it and still wants him. It just goes to show how she has the weight of an entire region on her shoulders, and is just trying to decompress.
lordHodor
He doesn´t seem to care too much about her as a person. Also he gives spectacularly bad advice. He does give her the stormcrows and seems to know his way around female genitalia. Still I would be surprised if he had a huge following.
JonCon's Red Beard
She's free to have sex with whoever she wants to, no matter how douchy or slimy he might be. After she takes a bath, we'll keep loving her.
eyenon15
Dany is my favorite character and Daario isn't far behind, he is THE Rockstar of ASOIAF.Self made man. Glamboyant Peacock. He has wined and dined with kings and queens, he's slept in the alley eating pork and beans.Soooooo hateable that even the most bleeding hearted liberals judge and condemn him based on his clothing and hair color. Most people say he is bad for Dany, maybe so. But Dany is far more dangerous to him than he is to her, just look where he is right now(probably killed by the Yunkees)He is her number one guy, he consistently comes through for her after she sends him on these certain death missions time and time again. Eat My Steel
While I am not truly a Danaerys fan, I don't dislike her as many do (for some reason). I actually like Daario, for all we know about him, whatever that's worth. Stressed throughout the novels is the fact that sellswords cannot be trusted, and it kind of feels to me like Daario may be/have been plotting against her and will be one of the people of her "three treasons" (any three could fit if you think about it enough). If Daario remains true to her cause, I think I would continue to have a higher opinion of him. If he turns on her, he is just another typical sellsword and be deemed worthy of derision. Whitering
The Meereenese Blot A tremendous essay that has completely changed my view of Dance has Daario as a metaphor for war, fire and blood. He is the temptation of Dany and I think she fell to that temptation, we'll see in the next book.

Julia Martell
I agree with JonCon's Red Beard. Dany can have consexual sex with whoever she likes. She would hardly be the first intelligent woman to shack up with an asshole, either.

The Mother of The Others
I'd send him away on a dangerous mission but he's already volunteered for that so really there's not a lot to complain about.
LordStoneheart
He's so ridiculous that he's funny and he's basically what every guy from the 80s wishes they were in the 80s. I think he's good for Dany to have a guy she can be happy and cutesy with but long term she definitely shouldn't see him as a good investment. Davrum
In the books: Perhaps the most entertaining of all the non-main characters. Not necessarily likable, but very much appreciated. As adapted by the show-runners and Ed Skrein: Disappointingly non-blue haired but nicely sleazy-faced and oozing gross alphaness. His constant smirk was a lot of fun to behold and be repulsed by. As adapted by the show-runners and some other guy: Who?

MakeThemBurn
It's hard to tell what kind of a person Daario is since we know so little of him, but I am rooting for him. He's just as violent as Khal Drogo, so I always thought of him as an instrument to show Dany's attraction to violence and wildness. Add to this the fact that Dany was miserable in Mereen and the only time she was happy was when she was riding Drogon for the first time. I take those clues as a sign that Dany isn't meant to rule and sit on a throne. She should be free. From that perspective Daario isn't that bad. The guy certainly makes his own rules and loves life. So yeah, a part of me is aching to see Dany and Daario run in the wilderness and live without a care. If only.

yomi
Well, Daario... despite the fact that we are introduced to him and see most of him in Dany's POVs and Dany is quiet infatuated with him, his descriptions do not seem attractive to me. Maybe I'm just not into golden teeth. Characterwise he enjoys violence and is rude and I don't like him, but I'm willing to accept him aslong as he doesn't betray her. And if he gives her happiness in bed, well, she surely can use some happiness.
Veltigar
Daario is a horrible character. The fight of worst character is between him and Penny imo. Both are clever as ideas, but the execution is woefully bad. Like with Daario, I get what GRRM is trying to do. Making him into a bad boy and pitting Dany's personal desires/happiness versus that of her people. It's a good story, but the character is just such a painful stereotype and a real cartboard cutout. I just can't take him seriously.
