OrangeStallion
Was reading the preview of "the world of ice and fire" on a book seller website, and was reading the passage about the Dawn Age. Of course it tells about the children of the forest, giants and a possible third race. Basically when the ironborn first men first came to the iron islands, they found the seastone chair already there, and the Maester writing this passage says it could be possible people from across the sunset sea. Who could have made the seastone chair? What if it was the Others? They're the only other race we know about, and if they have a link to the ironborn and the drowned god, it gives a lot more credence to "Dead things in the water". Worth a look-see. Stannis's Lawyer
The Ashanti throne also came down from heaven. That's about as reliable as Ironborn mythology.
The Bastard Daughter
The words of the Drowned god fit this theory..."What is dead may never die, but rises again, harder and stronger."
King of Winter-ish Stuff
That's actually super interesting. What if Drowned God = Great Other and Storm God = Old Gods? The Drowned God has the obvious connection to the Great Other in that they both bring dead things back to life. And the Storm God's creatures are ravens... Greenseers can warg ravens. Hmmm... Interesting...
aryagonnakill#2
I think the most popular theory about Nagga is that its a Weirwood grove turned to stone.
Lady Blizzardborn
If it was the Others, I think the Seastone Chair would be made of ice.
