Black Jack Bulwer
FAO: Teachers. My school start teaching GCSE in Year 9, with the first term spent on a Bridging Unit that incorporates modules on the Suffragettes and History Mysteries. One of the mysteries that our students examine and try to solve is the Princes in the Tower. Our planning showed the need for a good background lesson on the War of the Roses in general, touching on the significance of the Princes. Enter me, with a bright idea... How do you teach War of the Roses... GAME OF THRONES, OF COURSE! This lesson is a complete nerdgasm on my part, but I am really pleased with the finished product, and hopefully the kids should enjoy it too. Take a look, and tell me what you think! http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/War-of-the-Roses-6448337/
Salafi Stannis
Wish my teacher would teach me Game of Thrones in school. [emoji20]
