Is Jaime in LESS trouble than we think?

A decent amount of people think that Jaime is in HUGE trouble right now since Brienne is luring him towards Stoneheart, some people even thinking he's going to meet his end with stoneheart! but considering the amount of shock "deaths" and chapter end cliffhangers GRRM threw in AFFC/ADWD (hell even in ASOS with Arya during the Red Wedding). and also I know that show and books are two separate entities and that D&D are increasingly taking more liberties, but SO FAR they have introduced and included all the major major aspects and from what we know of Season 5 so far, it seems like they're continuing to include other important characters and facets from the books. I mean GRRM himself said that the Sand Snakes will play a huge role in TWOW and the show included them, while also including the Faith Militant and Dorne, so the show just cutting out Stoneheart altogether makes me question whether Stoneheart is less important than we think and how important her inclusion in Jaime and Brienne's arc really is.

Also GRRM recently said this about Jaime and Cersei:

Well, as for the books, I have two more to write. I’m certainly going to be dealing with Jaime. Jaime and Cersei’s relationship is in a very different place in the books than the show has reached now. They are effectively estranged now. Jaime is very angry with Cersei over the stuff that Tyrion told him—that she’s been sleeping with Lancel and the Kettleblacks and Moon Boy. And the Kettleblacks and Moon Boy don’t even exist in the series.

Note how he only said that "he's going to be dealing with Jaime" and NOT Cersei. That makes me think that Cersei's storyline is much more of a spoiler than Jaime's storyline, in which he kept completely quiet about her. Because I highly doubt that GRRM is going to kill Cersei off first thing in the beginning of TWOW in the sense that he won't have to deal with her at all.

IMO there's no way Jaime dies before he tells Daenerys about Aerys' crimes and how he died. There's a narrative reason why she hasn't found out yet and his name is Jaime Lannister.

(Plus he and Brienne have to have lots of sex and babies, ok maybe not but pleaaaaase GRRM?)

That's interesting. They are certainly far apart proximity-wise right now, though.

For different reasons I agree. I don't hold any faith in the show being an accurate storyline, but I don't think Brienne will lead Jaime to his death. Either Stoneheart intends to use Jaime somehow, or Brienne and him will make some sort of plan. Brienne said sword to save Pod, could she really, effectively, kill Jaime?

I never believed that Stoneheart or Brienne would kill Jaime, but now I'm starting to think that Jaime just isn't really in much danger at all.

I'm sticking with Bran's vision and believe that Jaime and the Hound are going to cross paths with the Stark girls. For that, they have to be alive.

Sometimes a cliffhanger is a spoiler in itself as the characters always seem to find their way back.

I sure hope GRRM will tell us who the man armored like the sun in brans vision was when all is said and done. I find it very hard to believe it was Jaime.

I wonder if it was Littlefinger, because Tyrion once flat out thought that it's not Jaime who is golden, it's Littlefinger. :dunno:
