ant1010
I'm about 450 pages deep in a Feast for Crows and I noticed that Victarion is always talking about his wife and how he beat and killed her. My question is, why did he do this? Is he just crazy or am I missing something??

cassidyaj
May be spoiler: She was "seduced" by Euron and this cost her her "honor". So, he killed her to "protect her honor". And to protect his honor too, I think...It doesn't seem like any one else knows that his brother gave him horns, but if to him it's bad enough that Euron knows. Euron laughed at him for it. It was probably a very Victarion display of getting his honor back to show that she got what she "deserved" as he couldn't kill his own brother because of the kinslayer dilemma and I don't think Balon would have allowed him to kill Euron.
